Diddy and the crew re-worked this beat real nice. Always thought someone rapping over it would sound even more dope so I guess I got my wish. Mr. Radio Killa would body this beat..just sayin…
The remix to Maybach Music 2 off of Ricky’s Deeper Than Rap. I’d like to hear more Rick and Clipse collabs. I’m lovin’ the live instrumental joints that have been droppin’ since Hov’s Show Me What You Got and American Gangster album. Big ups to all you artists using the real musicians and live bands.

As many of you know, I’ve been preparing to releasing an exciting mixtape this summer called Southerngold. Basically, me mixing my favorite Southern rap vocals over remixed samples of my favorite Santigold influenced samples and tracks.
However, as I am about to release my mix on the internet tonight… literally, I am sitting at my desk in Brooklyn uploading the mix to YouSendIt.com, I get a cease and desist from lawyers at Santigold’s label, Downtown Records.
I’m not selling this, I’m not making a dime. I’m encouraging everyone to BUY Santigold’s album and I’m helping to expand her fan base to new markets. In addition, none of these songs are as they would appear on her actual album. EVERYTHING is remixed and redone so there is no competition with her actual in-stores album… It’s ironic that Downtown Records biggest group was signed due to a project with similar ambitions, Gnarls Barkley’s Danger Mouse with The Grey Album.

I never was intrigued by the whole Ross Vs 50 beef. Ross’ 1st two albums were nice, but now he’s tryna get Em involved by talkin ish during interviews and calling their camp “..a buncha monkeys”. Officer Ricky…YOU DON’T want it with MR. MATHERS. You put out a solid 3rd album, now keep your mouth shut while your ahead.
Here’s the whole album if ya’ll don’t already have it. Lemme know what ya’ll think…
The remix video to the first single off of Love VS Money droppin’ tomorrow. Follow up to Love VS Hate (if you haven’t heard the whole album your missin’ out!).
