A lot of good R&B has dropped in the past few days. Drizzy’s R&B game goes much smoother than his rap game (Don’t get me wrong I enjoy his Hip-Hop, but after seeing his live show last week, the slow jams are def his strength…esp on stage) and here’s one from his debut album Thank Me Later, featuring Jeezy. This is the unfinished version (Boi-1da came in and re-worked the drums giving it more knock) but still #dope
Here’s the first official single off his upcoming 4th studio album, rEVOLVEr. Young Jeezy hops on for the assist. I knew Pain had some heaters he was hiding! This one goes….
The Wickeds movies Drama just started acting like a bitch. Drama wanted to be Khaled, but he didn’t want to help nobody. He just changed, period. Look at his crew. The same niggas ain’t around him. You ain’t never been in no streets. I could never have no beef with a nigga like that. He’s a cornball. You made millions off my mixtapes, to the point where the fuckin’ feds scooped you up for bootlegging. I never even made the money he made off of Trap or Die or Tha Streets Iz Watchin, because they were selling and distributing them and making money.
I’m not hating. But we will never do a mixtape together. I didn’t charge that nigga for [contributing a verse to the song “5000 Ones,” on Drama’s official Atlantic Records debut]. But then when I need [a tape for one of my artists], and you want to charge me $20,000?… I’ll slap the shit out of Drama. He knows that. He wasn’t loyal. But me putting my hands on that man ain’t gonna make him respect what I’m saying. I’m just not gonna fuck with him anymore.

As many of you know, I’ve been preparing to releasing an exciting mixtape this summer called Southerngold. Basically, me mixing my favorite Southern rap vocals over remixed samples of my favorite Santigold influenced samples and tracks.
However, as I am about to release my mix on the internet tonight… literally, I am sitting at my desk in Brooklyn uploading the mix to YouSendIt.com, I get a cease and desist from lawyers at Santigold’s label, Downtown Records.
I’m not selling this, I’m not making a dime. I’m encouraging everyone to BUY Santigold’s album and I’m helping to expand her fan base to new markets. In addition, none of these songs are as they would appear on her actual album. EVERYTHING is remixed and redone so there is no competition with her actual in-stores album… It’s ironic that Downtown Records biggest group was signed due to a project with similar ambitions, Gnarls Barkley’s Danger Mouse with The Grey Album.

A million versions have dropped of this. First the snippet with just Weezy, the version with Drake, then the one with Jeezy and the DJ taggin’ it up. Here’s the cleaned up FINAL version. They’re goin in…
If this actually goes down I guarantee it’ll sell out in minutes. This would be a great line-up, esp because alot of em are featured on eachother tracks and remixes. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see..
Canadian rapper Drake announced exclusively to MuchMusic that there’s a massive late-summer tour in the works that will see him join three of hip-hop’s greats on stage.
“God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybody’s schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing people,” Drake said. “One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and one of them being me.”
We’ve dubbed it the Jay-Z, Drizzy, Weezy, Jeezy outing. If only they could get Kanyeezy to jump on board too.
Drake played his first sold-out show in Toronto on Wednesday night. Surprise guests included local rapper Page who jumped on stage to trade verses for “I’m Still Fly,” as well as Bun B of UGK who performed “Uptown” from Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape.
Watch for a full interview with Drizzy as we travelled with him on show day in an upcoming episode of MuchNews Weekly on Mondays at 9 pm ET. Plus, check back often cause we’ve got tons more Drake news coming your way!
